Dined here recently for the first time and let me just say, I’ve been sleeping on this place! I had the chicken kabob platter with veggie rice, salad, and pita and everything was fresh and wonderful! DELICIOUS!! The staff is pleasant and the restaurant was extremely clean. Definitely recommend!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I have been coming to Mata for a while now. I just love this place. I am always on the move and I stop here once a week to get either the falafel protein bowl or the steak kabab platter. The food is always good and fresh. This is a hidden gem of a restaurant that has great Mediterranean food.

First time customer giving an honest opinion...my gyro came out with the sauce on the side (didnt order it this way) but the gyro was fresh, and flavorful, but very dry. I also ordered a side of falafel, which was decent, not great. It did not come with dipping sauce which I thought was odd, I asked for one thing of tzatziki sauce because the one cup with the gyro was not even filled full and was hardly enough for the gyro itself. I had already spent 32 dollars for this meal and the man at the counter told me it would be a dollar for another small cup. Yea, no thanks, I will not return, shouldn't have to pay for sauce that should of come with my meal in the first place. Thankfully the sweet tea was good and helped with the dryness.

I tried Mata for my first time last night and I am so happy I did! I ordered online through toast because I wasn’t sure what to get and it was super easy to navigate. I ordered the gyro platter with a side Greek salad and rice pilaf. I also added a side of chicken and a side of spicy tzatziki🔥 It was so so good and such a good portion. There is enough for two meals for myself, but it was so good I ate most of my platter and reheated the rest today for lunch and it was still just as delicious. The service was fast and when I went to pick up my order the gentleman who handed me my meal was very friendly and seemed very genuine when he thanked me for ordering. There are tables to eat at so I cannot wait to bring my parents here for us to try it all together! Also I felt everything was super affordable. When I go out to eat at a restaurant I usually spend about $20 on myself and after tip I think my order was $23. Worth it.
